We’re proud to partner with The Man Cave, a charity who run mental health programs for thousands of young men across Australia.
What does partner actually mean? For us, it means that The Man Cave, the charity, is the largest shareholder in our business. This also means that the mission and values of The Man Cave are literally embedded into our DNA. It’s pretty cool to have a charity benefit the most from STUFF’s success.
On top of this, for every $1000 in sales, STUFF will sponsor one boy to experience one of The Man Cave’s life-changing programs. How good!
Let's rewind. The Man Cave was founded in 2014 by STUFF CEO and Founder, Hunter Johnson, and his friend Jamin Heppell. Seeing how poor mental health, domestic violence and sexual assault were affecting their communities, they saw the need to work with young men at a preventative level, empowering them to become great men for themselves, their relationships and the people around them.
So far, The Man Cave has helped more than 20,000 boys, parents and teachers across Australia with programs that allow young men to explore and express their full humanity. The Man Cave has also gathered global support from The Royal Family, and appeared in every major TV and news publication in Australia.
"The Man Cave workshops result in materially significant improvements to mental health-related outcomes.
The workshops cultivate a deeper knowledge of mental health and wellbeing after one day, and contribute to the development of meaningful relationships with family and peers.” Ernst Young, 2019
The Man Cave’s mission is to empower boys to become great men by providing them and their communities with impactful workshops, role models and resources.
In these workshops, boys are given the language, permission, and space to engage with each other in a safe environment, and begin to express themselves and their authentic worldview. The data shows that when they feel safe and aren’t viewed as a ‘problem to be solved’ they actively engage with each other in positive and transformative ways.

“The Man Cave positively impacted my mental health. I feel more confident to express my own feelings and to redefine the way I interpret being a man.”

I’m in year 10 and I was fortunate enough to have a Man Cave session at Yavneh. These last few weeks I have been struggling with how I’m feeling and the session today was just the thing I needed.
They have connected me to my year level like I have never experiences and made me trust my friends with things so personal I was scared to say before”
